About The Awards

The Student World Awards (SWA) recognize education and scholarship program excellence at a global level. It celebrates the success of the highest-achieving students and provides a comprehensive look at the achievements of the most exceptional examples of Scholarship Programs being the culmination of an engaging and exciting awards journey for all participants.

The awards honor outstanding performance in a wide range of categories and explore the full range of in-depth categories which cover everything from Individual awards for Outstanding Academic Undergraduate Student to Role Model Student Award, as well as a wide scope for categories for organisations accomplishments Scholarship Programs from all across the world. The winners will be presented with their awards at the WSSEP Gala Dinner organised by Gulf Conferences Ltd. on the 6th September 2017 in London.

 

ENTRY DEADLINE

All entries are to be submitted by the 29th July 2017, winners will be announced on the 31st August 2017. The award ceremony will take place on 6th September 2017.

Individual Awards

Each entry should be accompanied by a personal profile of the nominated person; Achievements; Awards & Accolades received; Media Coverage; Articles published; Photographs & any other relevant details.

The Jury will evaluate each entry and will decide on winners. The decision of the Jury is final and binding.

How Entries are Judged

Submissions are scored using pre-determined criteria, with written entries being assessed to decide short-lists of the Finalists who will go on to make 15-minute phone interview to a panel of Judges to the Finals. Scores for a phone interview at the event will add to written entry scores to determine overall winners in each category.

  2. Scoring Application/Entry form counts towards 80% of Overall Score
  3. Finalist phone interview to Judges counts towards 20% of Overall Score

Each entry should be accompanied by a write-up of not more than 3000 words excluding attachment; Profile of the organisation & Brochure; Media write-ups & Interviews as annexure.

Voting Awards

In addition to the possibility of receiving a peer-reviewed honor in above categories, all shortlisted organisations and individuals are included in voting for the Voting Awards.

Online voting for Role Model Education Organization Award and Role Model Student Award will open to the public worldwide on 1st August 2017 and will continue through 31st August 2017. We will provide Finalists in these categories with tools to help you encourage your fans, followers, and customers to vote for you. The nominee with the most votes in each category will receive additional Award.

How Entries are Judged

Honorary awards are not judged. Instead, a professional judging committee will nominate role model organisations for the categories mentioned above.
